Material: 100% virgin sheep's wool, full cowhide leather
The smart all-rounder to wear over and under. Made from the best cloth or superior loden, it has become a favourite with us. The best workmanship ensures an impeccable fit and the waistcoat is light and comfortable to wear. A year-round vest for indoors and outdoors. The breathable loden, additionally lined with an extra layer of loden, keeps you warm without making you sweat. Water and dirt cannot harm the men's vest, it is absolutely easy to care for and is always the best choice for hunting, leisure, a hike or a cosy evening on the terrace. The loden waistcoat offers optimum workmanship with sophisticated details such as the two-way zip, the high collar, leather patches on the shoulders, the side pockets with classic piping and an additional inside pocket that can be closed with Velcro.
Our loden vests "Mitterberg" and "Ferdinand" are distinguished by their different-coloured lining and piping and the reversible zip.

The miracle fibre from nature!
Temperature-regulating & breathable
The tightly woven structure allows the body's own warmth to be retained where it is needed. Water vapour (e.g. perspiration) is absorbed and transported away in a targeted manner.
Water-repellent & wind-resistant
The natural wool grease "lanolin" ensures that loden and felt absorb water only poorly and thus remain pleasantly dry inside when it rains. The breathability allows moisture to be wicked away quickly.
Dirt-resistant & easy-care
The lanolin also makes it difficult for dirt to be absorbed by the fabric. This makes these fabrics ideal for outdoor clothing and accessories, especially in harsh conditions.
